The Quaternity Institute realizes that for many reasons our East Coast biodiversity has been threatened.
Many native plants, especially those with healing properties, are becoming extinct.
We, therefore, strive to collect native plants, especially medicinal plants, that are near extinction and start a green house community for them. We will start a project where these plants are re-harvested and re-planted. We will also use this opportunity to compile research on what medicinal properties these plants have and their correct usage in healing.
Also, we invite schools to come and learn about native plants and wildlife. We will start local gardening workshops and trail walks to help our youth and adults become reaquainted with Mother Nature and the priceless gift by which we are surrounded.
